Is this really free?
Yes, and there is no catch to find later. You pay Shopify for your plan, which starts at $1 a month for three months, and you pay me nothing. Shopify pays me a commission for sending them a new merchant, and that commission is what pays for the designs.
Why does my store have to be brand new?
Because that commission is the whole business model. It only exists for a store that was genuinely started through my link. If you connect a store you already had, nobody pays for the designs, and I would be giving away a paid product for nothing. Already have a store? Then buy the designs instead, and that route has no conditions at all.
Do I have to pay for Shopify?
Yes. Shopify's current offer is $1 a month for your first three months.
What if I choose my plan later?
Nothing is lost. Connect your store whenever you like, and if you are still on the free trial you will be told so. Choose a plan when you are ready, press connect once more, and the designs open. There is no deadline on that part.
What exactly do I get?
Every design in the collection, the app that fills your store with the demo content, and the filmed walkthrough for each step. New designs land in your account free as they ship, up to and including version 1.0.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Everything is done in Shopify's own Theme Editor, with the walkthrough filmed step by step. If you can follow a video you can do this.
Is Horizon really free?
Yes. Horizon is Shopify's own free theme and you install it yourself from their Theme Store. What you get from me is the design on top of it: the layout, the type, the colors, the sections and the demo content that turn an empty theme into a real store.
Can I use the designs on more than one store?
You get the designs for one store: the one you started through my link. If you want the designs on a second store, that needs its own license. The full terms are in the license.
What if my store does not qualify?
You are told which rule it was, in plain words, on the spot. If your store is new and clearly yours but something simply took longer than 3 hours, I look at it myself rather than letting a rule decide. And the designs are always available to buy on horizonbyrobbin.com.
