This website

123startyourstore.com sets no cookies of its own. It loads Google Analytics 4, which does, so it can tell us how many people visit and which video sent them. Those cookies are named _ga and _ga_<id>, they hold a random identifier rather than your name, and they expire after two years.

If you arrived here from a video, the address may carry a short code naming that video. We store that in your browser so a signup made a day later can still be traced to the video that earned it. It is stored on your own device and you can clear it by clearing your browser storage.

Your account

Accounts live on access.learnwithrobbin.com, not here. That platform holds your email address, your name if you gave one, and your progress through the lessons. It signs you in with a link sent by email rather than a password.

What your Shopify store tells us

When you connect your store, you install our app and Shopify authorises it. From that point we read a small, fixed set of facts about the store itself:

• The store’s Shopify id, name and myshopify address.
• When the store was created.
• Which plan it is on, and whether it is a development store.
• Whether the store still needs setup, its currency and its timezone.

We keep those facts, together with the moment you connected, because they are the record of why access was granted. Without them there is no way to answer “why did this account get the designs” a year from now.

What we never read

• Your customers, their names, their addresses or their email addresses.
• Your orders or your revenue.
• Your payment details or your Shopify invoices. Shopify never sends these to an app, and we never ask.

If you uninstall the app

Uninstalling ends our access immediately. Shopify tells us it happened and the access token is deleted. The record of how you got access stays, because it is what justifies the access you already have.

The importer app

If you use the app to import demo content, it writes products, collections, pages, menus and files into your store. That is the whole point of it. It creates a list of what it added, so the same app can remove it again if you change your mind.

Email

We send you the emails the platform needs to work: your sign-in link, and a message when your designs unlock. Marketing email is separate and only goes to people who asked for it, with an unsubscribe link in every message.

Who else sees your data

• Shopify, because it is their platform and your store.
• Google Analytics, for the visit statistics above.
• Cloudflare, which serves this site and stores the platform’s data.
• Impact, Shopify’s affiliate network, which records that a referral happened. See the affiliate disclosure.

We do not sell your data to anybody, and we never will.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@learnwithrobbin.com and you get a real answer from a real person.

If you are in the EU or the UK and are not happy with how a request is handled, you can also complain to a data protection authority: the one in your own country. The authority for this business is the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
